Welcome to OASIS

OASIS is a private treatment center for traumatized refugees, asylum seekers and their families.

Fleeing from traumatic experiences, such as imprisonment, torture or war, carries other traumatic experiences along with it, in the form of loss of close relatives, cultural attachment, hardships during the flight, longlasting periods of asylum with existential uncertainty, possible changes in the family structure and in the family's internal division of roles, and more.

OASIS holds a holistic view of refugees' suffering, which is reflected in the center's interdisciplinary treatment model.

It is our experience that refugees' psychological and social problems usually are normal reactions to extreme life circumstances. The problems are of both social, physical and psychological nature.
